How much does an AI agent cost for my business?

In Spain, as of August 2026, public pricing for a conversational tool for a small business ranges from about €40/mo for self-serve chatbot builders you configure yourself, up to €200-400/mo for those same products once WhatsApp is included. A checkable reference: Landbot publishes Starter at €40/mo, WhatsApp Pro at €200/mo and Business from €400/mo (prices checked on 2026-08-19).

The other family is managed agents, where the vendor builds and trains the agent on the business's information. There the monthly fee comes with a one-off setup of several hundred euros: you pay less of your own time and more money up front. The real cost of a cheap builder is the time of whoever maintains the flows, and that never shows up on an invoice.

Captia is in the second family. The Web plan is €49/mo with the web channel and 500 conversations per month included. The Pro plan is €199/mo with the web and WhatsApp channels, booking, reminders and 2,000 conversations per month. The phone receptionist is an add-on from +€99/mo with 200 minutes included, and the Custom plan (bespoke integration with CRM, calendar, catalog or ERP) has no list price: it is quoted per project. No plan has lock-in.

Beyond the tool itself, if you use WhatsApp, Meta bills the messages separately: today it charges per delivered template message, with rates by category and country, and from 1 October 2026 it will also charge replies sent inside the 24-hour window. That is a channel cost: you pay it with any vendor.
